In case you haven’t noticed from the number of blog posts, we love Brooklyn food events. Especially the dog-friendly ones! We’re looking forward to Tastes of Brooklyn, taking place this Saturday, October 20. The annual culinary festival, showcases the borough’s best eats and for the first time this year, Tastes of Brooklyn is featuring a Canine Corner.
Rocco and Jezebel and the Vinegar Hill Veterinary Clinic have been busy organizing the Canine Corner, which will feature gourmet pet treats from Polka Dog Bakery, Evermore Pet Food, Woodshire Farms and others. A Brooklyn Dog’s Life is even going into baking mode and we’re making wheat-free pumpkin treats for the event. The best part is that Tastes of Brooklyn is for a good cause. The community event raises money for Seeds in the Middle, a Brooklyn non-profit that provides great opportunities for underprivileged kids.
While your dog enjoys yummy treats, you’ll be able get a taste of Brooklyn Farmacy, Saul, La Vara, Shelsky’s Smoked Fish, and Locanda Vini & Olli, along with other great Brooklyn eats. Visit Tastes of Brooklyn for tickets and more information.
