Get Inside of A Dog Today at the Brooklyn Public Library

Alexandra Horowitz, author of Inside of A Dog, will be speaking at the Brooklyn Public Library at 4pm today.  The cognitive scientist and Barnard professor will share insights on what dogs see, smell and know. You’ll be surprised to learn how dogs can actually smell time; why some dogs joyfully retrieve tossed balls and sticks while others just stare; and most importantly, how your dog really feels about the raincoat you make him wear. I recently heard her speak on a panel about dogs at Barnard and she is full of entertaining fun facts and solid scientific information. If you can’t make it to today’s event, pick up a copy of her book!
