Brooklyn Dog Saved By The Blog

This morning the Today show featured Walter the Brooklyn dog who was rescued from the streets of Cobble Hill. In April the poor pup was thrown from a car onto the street and rescued by a passerby. Brooklynite Alex Darcy took the dog to VERG where he learned its chances for survival were slim and the medical bills would be outrageous.   Determined and on a mission, Alex and his girlfriend sent a few emails to friends to help raise funds for Walter and started a blog and Facebook campaign. Soon people around the globe were helping their cause and today they have a happy healthy pup. Kudos to everyone who helped give this story a happy ending! Visit TODAY to see the heart-warming interview.
