ABDL Goes to the Jersey Shore: Lucky’s Bed and Biscuit

Just a short drive from Long Beach Island in Manahawkin is a doggy wonderland known as Lucky’s Bed and Biscuit. The 15,000 square foot complex offers impeccable spa services, day care and boarding that will make even the most attached dog owner feel at ease leaving their pet here. Dogs will love their stay at Lucky’s as they make new friends in the salt water pool, indoor and outdoor play areas and relax in comfy overnight suites.

After hours of frolicking on dog beach, Laly checked into Lucky’s for a spa weekend. Since our house wasn’t pooch friendly, she spent days with us and nights at Lucky’s. With their Bark and Ride shuttle service, Laly met us beachside and was driven back to the pooch palace when we could no longer stand the heat. On the days it was too hot for any dog or human to be outdoors, she enjoyed a full day of play groups at her four-star accommodation.

Boarding starts at $45 per night and can go up to $70 for a VIP suite with a webcam that lets you tune into your pooch. Indulgences include a room service menu with Laly’s favorite, Yoghund frozen yogurt and pooch specialties fresh from the cafe. Overnight guests receive four hours of playtime and at least five walks each day. After a stay at Lucky’s your dog will be begging to return.
